Travel doesn’t have to be difficult, it’s usually just knowing how it works that makes it simple. I have followed the Aviation industry for 20 years, and have seen the dramatic rate of change that has engulfed the market. From once Europe and America being the super powers, the Middle East and Asia are now the kings of the field, and will only grow over the next few years.
It leads onto my 15 years experience of selling luxury and experiential holidays, something which has changed dramatically over time. Luxury means different things to different people, but I see it as something nicer than what you are used to, and that differs from person to person. Not everyone would see a 4* hotel as being luxurious, but some would, and it isn’t always about the number of stars above the door, but about the experience. Travel isn’t also just about the hotel, it is so much more than that.
I don’t travel everywhere just because I can, I travel to learn something new and experience something different. I don’t obsess about hotels, but enjoy and explore the destinations I do travel to.
